Board and Governance

The Governing Authority of Samaritan College is the Catholic Diocese of Port Pirie Incorporated and is governed by the College Board constituted according to Catholic Education South Australia’s Manual for School Board Members, 2012. Board members sit a two year term of office and can be elected for 3 terms. New Board members are updated at the Annual General Meeting each year held mid way through Term 1.

The Board is a clear sign of partnership between parish and school, parents and staff, and in particular, between the school and the broader Church community. Membership of the Board reflects the diversity of the school community and the different voices, experiences and perspectives that support the Catholic ethos of the College.

Board members come from primary/secondary, each campus, the Parish, parents, staff and Executive leadership of the College.
